Jersey College seeks a Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education for LPN/PN and RN students across classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical settings. The instructor creates a supportive learning environment and guides students in developing knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors essential for nursing practice.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with a passion for teaching, strong clinical knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Experience teaching LPN/PN and RN students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
• Attend faculty meetings, training sessions, and other required academic or campus meetings.
