Job summary

Jersey College seeks a Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students. The role includes creating a positive learning environment, evaluating student performance, and guiding professional development.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, an active RN license in the relevant state, and a minimum of 3 years of RN experience with a passion for education.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent RN experience.
• Experience teaching or precepting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and competency based on program standards.
• Prepare progress and grade reports and maintain attendance records.
