Job summary

Jersey College seeks a Nursing Instructor to deliver high‑quality classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students. The role includes supervising students, evaluating competency, and guiding professional development in a supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN with a BSN or higher, strong communication skills, and a commitment to student achievement.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences being taught.
• Prior nursing education or teaching experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to nursing students as assigned.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence using program standards.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports; maintain attendance records.
• Attend faculty meetings and engage in ongoing professional development.
