Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education for LPN/PN and RN students. The instructor will teach across classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings and foster a positive learning environment that supports student growth and professional development.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with an MSN or higher, strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student achievement.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and clinical experiences taught.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence using established standards.
• Prepare progress and grade reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners.
