Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality nursing instruction and clinical education to LPN/PN and RN students. The role involves classroom, lab, simulation, and clinical supervision, emphasizing student success and professional growth.

The instructor will evaluate student performance, maintain records, and collaborate with faculty and clinical partners to uphold nursing standards. A MSN or higher and an active RN license are required.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to nursing courses and experiences being taught.
• Preferred: nursing education/teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and ensure safe, professional practice.
• Evaluate student performance and assign grades.
• Maintain attendance records and timely progress reports.
• Participate in faculty meetings and ongoing professional development.
