Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor (Adjunct Clinical) to provide high‑quality classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students. The role involves supervising students in clinical settings across long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites and delivering assessments aligned with program standards.

The ideal candidate holds an MSN or higher, is an RN, and demonstrates strong communication and mentoring abilities to support student

Qualifications

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students.
• Deliver instruction aligned to program goals and established standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and nursing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Deliver effective instruction appropriate to the educational level and needs of LPN/PN and RN students.
• Supervise students in the clinical environment and promote safe, professional nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program philosophy, objectives, policies, and established standards.
