Job summary

Jersey College is seeking a Nursing Instructor to deliver high-quality nursing education to LPN/PN and RN students. The role includes classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction across campus programs, with emphasis on student success and professional development.

The instructor will evaluate performance, maintain records, and collaborate with faculty, administration, and clinical partners to ensure program excellence and student achievement.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Clinical experience relevant to taught nursing courses and clinical experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to nursing students.
• Supervise students in clinical settings and promote safe nursing practice.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence per program standards.
• Prepare progress and grade reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty and clinical partners and participate in required meetings.
