Job summary

North Country HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a House Coordinator to provide clinical and supervisory leadership for the Nursing Department across Med-Surg, ICU, Emergency, Surgery, and Oncology during a specific shift.

The role includes rounds on Medical Surgical and ICU units, acting as a backup RN in key areas, and ensuring alignment with NH guidelines and Weeks Medical Center standards. Strong ICU/ED experience and NH license are required.

Qualifications

• Current NH RN license (BSN/BS/BA strongly preferred).
• BLS, ACLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia certifications required.
• Critical Care course required; CC course within 6 months if not completed.
• PALS and MOAB within one year; NRP and TNCC within 2 years.
• Minimum five years of clinical experience; ED/ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for the Nursing Department during a shift, providing clinical and supervisory leadership.
• Perform charge nurse duties on the medical/surgical unit and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Make rounds to patients on the Medical Surgical unit and ICU every shift and to all Nursing departments at least every four hours.
• Serve as clinical backup RN to ED, ICU, ONC, and PACU/SDS; ensure adherence to CMS HCFA and NH guidelines.
