Job summary

North Country HealthCare, Inc. is seeking a House Coordinator to lead nursing teams across Med-Surg, ICU, Emergency, Surgery, and Oncology per shift. The role involves coordinating services, rounds on the Medical-Surgical unit and ICU, and ensuring standards of care are met.

The position requires NH RN licensure with BSN/BA preferred, critical care certification, and extensive ED/ICU experience. Hours may include hospital rounds and back-up nursing responsibilities across departments.

Qualifications

• Current NH RN license; BSN/BA strongly preferred.
• Critical Care course required; must complete within 6 months if not yet completed.
• PALS and MOAB certification within 1 year; NRP and TNCC within 2 years.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience; ED/ICU experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, conflict management, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities and provide clinical and supervisory leadership for the Nursing Department during a specific shift.
• Perform charge nurse duties on Med-Surg; provide direct patient care as needed.
• Make rounds to Medical/Surgical and ICU patients each shift and to all Nursing departments at least every 4 hours.
• Serve as clinical backup RN to ED, ICU, ONC, and PACU/SDS; adhere to CMS HCFA standards for Critical Access Hospitals.
