Job summary

Northcountryhomehealth Hospice is seeking a House Coordinator to lead nursing operations across multiple departments and shifts. The role includes supervisory duties, rounding on Medical/Surgical units and ICUs, and acting as a clinical backup RN for ED, ICU, and PACU/SDS.

The candidate should have NH RN licensure with BSN/BA preferred, BLS/ACLS, critical care training, and at least five years of clinical experience, including ED/ICU exposure. Travel and orientation requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Current registered nurse license in NH; BSN/BS/BA strongly preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, and Basic Dysrhythmia certifications required.
• Critical Care course required; must complete within 6 months if not present.
• PALS and MOAB within 1 year; NRP and TNCC within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities and provide clinical leadership for a specific shift across Med-Surg, ICU, ED, Surgery, Oncology.
• Perform charge nurse duties and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Make rounds to patients on Medical/Surgical unit and ICU every shift and to all Nursing departments every 4 hours.
• Serve as clinical backup RN to ED, ICU, ONC, and PACU/SDS and ensure compliance with CMS and state guidelines.
