Job summary

North Country Healthcare is seeking a House Coordinator to lead nursing operations across Med-Surg, ICU, ED, Surgery and Oncology. You will coordinate departmental activities, conduct rounds, and support clinical leadership during your shift.

The role requires 5+ years of clinical experience, NH RN licensure with BLS/ACLS, and certifications in critical care. You will also ensure CMS HCFA and NH guidelines are followed and act as back‑up RN in key departments.

Qualifications

• Current NH RN license and active BLS/ACLS certification.
• Critical Care course required; if not held, must complete within 6 months.
• PALS and MOAB within 1 year; NRP and TNCC within 2 years.
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience; ED/ICU experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, conflict management, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing activities for shifts across Med-Surg, ICU, ED, Surgery and Oncology.
• Provide clinical and supervisory leadership and ensure Standards of Care and Practice.
• Perform charge nurse duties and provide direct patient care as needed.
• Make rounds to Medical-Surgical and ICU patients every shift; and across Nursing departments at least every 4 hours.
• Serve as clinical backup RN to ED, ICU, ONC, and PACU/SDS.
• Ensure compliance with CMS HCFA standards and NH nursing guidelines.
