Job summary

Jersey College seeks an experienced Nursing Instructor to provide high-quality instruction and clinical education for LPN/PN and RN students. Courses may include classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical experiences to foster student success and professional development.

The ideal candidate is an MSN-prepared RN with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication, and a commitment to student achievement.

Qualifications

• MSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent professional RN experience.
• Experience teaching LPN/PN or RN students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN nursing students, as assigned.
• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a positive and supportive learning environment for academic growth and professional development.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence based on program standards.
• Maintain accurate attendance, progress, and grade records.
