Job summary

Chamberlain University seeks an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to lead day-to-day operations and supervise faculty in support of BSN program goals. You will partner with the Dean to execute strategies, develop faculty, and ensure teaching quality across programs.

You will ensure accreditation standards, manage budgets, coordinate clinical placements, and drive continuous improvement using data. This role anchors Chamberlain Care across campus operations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Unencumbered nursing licensure required.
• 2+ years in nursing education at bachelor level or above.
• 2+ years in simulation/clinical experience development.
• 2+ years of leadership experience.
• 2+ years in acute patient care preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational and time management.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
• Proven ability to recruit, onboard and develop faculty.
• Budget planning, resource management and change leadership.
• Strategic thinking and policy interpretation.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day academic operations and supervise assigned faculty.
• Partner with Dean on BSN program goals and execution.
• Develop faculty performance and maintain teaching standards.
• Contribute to student success via data-driven decisions.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation standards compliance.
• Plan budgets and manage resource allocation.
• Coordinate scheduling and workload models for faculty groups.
• Support clinical placement of nursing students.
• Lead program expansion and new academic initiatives.
• Actively support academic strategy from the center.
