Job summary

Chamberlain University seeks an Associate Dean of Academic Affairs to oversee day-to-day academic operations and supervise assigned faculty. You will partner with the Dean to drive BSN program goals, ensure teaching standards, and support student success through data-informed decisions.

You will lead budgeting, curriculum delivery, and accreditation readiness, while embedding Chamberlain Care and Covista culture into operations and supporting clinical placement and faculty development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing is required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Unencumbered professional nursing licensure required.
• 2+ years experience in nursing education at bachelor level or above.
• 2+ years in simulation and/or clinical experience development/participation.
• 2+ years leadership experience required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
• Experience recruiting, onboarding, and faculty development.
• Budget planning and resource management.
• Strategic thinking and policy interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day academic operations and supervise assigned faculty.
• Develop faculty performance and maintain teaching standards.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Lead budgeting and resource allocation.
• Coordinate clinical placements for nursing students.
• Collaborate with ED and ADAAs to support student and business outcomes.
• Embed Chamberlain Care and Covista culture in operations.
• Support program expansion and academic initiatives from center.
• Engage with boards and communities professionally.
