Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Richmond Heights, MO is seeking a Nursing Assistant for a PRN schedule. You will assist with daily patient care, vital signs, and mobility needs, while supporting meals, documentation, and comfort. Position:

Nursing Assistant

Location:

Richmond Heights, MO

Schedule:

PRN Day or Night 6:45-7:15, minimum 4 shifts per 6 week period

Compensation:

$20.50/PRN Rate (+$2/night shift diff & $1 weekend diff)

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience, certification as a nursing assistant preferred (maybe required based on some state requirements)
• Post offer employment testing (POETs) are completed as part of the onboarding process and are to be completed before an employee's first day of work.*
