Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) in St. Louis, MO for full-time day shifts (12-hour, 7-7). Compensation ranges from $19 to $23.17 per hour, with a $1.50 night differential.

A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered. The role focuses on compassionate inpatient care and patient hygiene, mobility, and safety. Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant experience and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients with basin-less bath products and providing basic oral hygiene and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds and monitor patient comfort and safety.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with moving patients in/stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; restock supplies as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Schedule: Full-Time Day 12 hour shifts, 7-7

Compensation: $19-$23.17 per hour, based on years of experience, +$1.50 diff for night shift
