Select Specialty Hospital in St. Louis, MO is hiring a Nursing Assistant for full-time day or night shifts. The role offers competitive hourly wages ($19–$23.17) with a $1.50 night differential and a $3,000 sign-on bonus. The NA will assist with daily patient care, participate in rounds, and help transfer patients as needed, while upholding cleanliness and safety standards across the unit.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Perform patient care tasks: bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Assist transport of patients to treatment centers and help with moving patients in/out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview

Position: Nursing Assistant (NA)

Schedule: Full-Time Day or Night 12 hour shifts, 7-7

Compensation:$19-$23.17 per hour, based on years of experience, +$1.50 diff for night shift

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)

• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
