Job summary

Ascension Living’s Sacred Heart Village in Avilla, IN is seeking a PRN nursing role in the Assisted Living unit. You will support physicians’ orders, monitor patient changes, and collaborate with the nursing team to deliver high-quality care.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and prefer BLS, bringing compassionate care, strong observation, and teamwork to daily living activities and safety-focused transfers.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with physician-ordered procedures and report changes in patient conditions to the nursing staff.
• Provide population-specific assistance to ensure timely, individualized patient care.
• Help patients with activities of daily living, personal care, and safe transfers or transport.
• Maintain clean, orderly patient rooms and a safe environment.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Assist with physician-ordered procedures and report changes in patient physical, mental, or emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Provide population-specific assistance to facilitate timely and individualized care for assigned patients.
• Help patients with activities of daily living, personal care, and safe transfers or transport.
• Assist with keeping patient rooms clean, orderly, and conducive to a safe environment.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
