Job summary

Ascension Living in Milwaukee, WI seeks a compassionate Nurse Aide to provide basic patient care at St. Francis Place. The role supports daily living activities, safety, and patient comfort while reporting changes to nursing staff and maintaining clean rooms.

This part-time position offers varied shifts including every other weekend, with growth opportunities within Ascension's caring health system.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic patient care activities.
• Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
• Assist in providing care appropriate to a specific population by facilitating time and individualized care of assigned patients.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
