Ascension Living in Brookfield, WI is seeking a compassionate Nurse Aide to join the Long term Care & Skilled Nursing team. The role provides essential daily support to residents, assists with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities, and collaborates with the nursing team to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.

The position offers an Afternoon shift and every other weekend, full-time status, and eligibility for Ascension benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Nurse Aide certification required.
• BLS Provider preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Essential Care: Support residents with daily living activities, personal care and mobility to ensure comfort, respect and quality of life.
• Support Clinical Success: Assist the nursing team with physician-ordered procedures and maintain a clean, organized environment for healing.
• Be the Eyes and Ears: Monitor and report vital changes in a resident’s condition to the RN for early intervention.
• Champion Resident Safety: Identify safety hazards and respond to emergencies to maintain a secure living environment.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
