Advocate Health Sherman Hospital in Elgin is seeking a Nurse Aide to support nursing staff with daily patient care and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

The position is full-time, Day Shift from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays. Requires a High School diploma or GED and BLS certification within 45 days; strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Formación

• Basic computer skills are required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Measures and documents vital signs and patient data in EMR.
• Performs rounding and communicates patient observations to the RN.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Collects specimens and performs point-of-care testing as indicated.
• Maintains supplies and cleans equipment and work areas.
• Maintains skin integrity and assists with patient positioning and transfers.
