Advocate Health Care is seeking a Part-time Nurse Aide for the Good Shepherd Hospital Nursing Float Pool. The role involves assisting the RN with basic patient care during night shifts on weekends and holidays, with a 24-hour per week schedule.

Responsibilities include vital signs, documentation in EMR, routine patient care, and support during admissions, transfers and discharges. Requires BLS, state Nurse Aide registration, and a high school diploma or GED.

Formación

• High School Graduate, or GED/HSED.
• Annual educational requirements for hospital-based certifications (e.g. DNV, CARF).

Responsabilidades

• Assists RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, orientation).
• Measures and documents vitals and intake/output.
• Performs rounds and communicates patient needs to RN.
• Assists in admission, transfer, discharge procedures.
• Maintains patient safety and cleanliness.
• Maintains stock for nursing area and disposables.
• Performs transfers and positioning with proper technique.
