Job summary

Atlas Healthcare, LLC in New Jersey seeks a dedicated nursing supervisor to direct day-to-day nursing activities in our long-term care center. You will supervise nursing personnel and ensure compliance with current standards and policies, maintaining the highest level of resident care.

Responsibilities include coordinating shift services, preparing reports, admitting and transferring residents, and working with other departments to align the resident’s total care plan.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience in nursing leadership and supervisory roles.
• Knowledge of regulations governing long-term care facilities.
• Ability to coordinate care plans and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing personnel in accordance with governing rules.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with Center policies and procedures.
• Meet with assigned staff to plan shifts, services, and activities.
• Ensure compliance with Nursing Service Procedures Manual.
• Make written and oral reports/recommendations as required.
• Cooperate with other resident services to maintain resident care.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Perform administrative duties such as charting and evaluations.
