Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of CNAs or other nursing personnel in accordance with rules and guidelines governing the long-term care center.
• Ensure compliance with Center policies and procedures by all nursing staff.
• Provide discipline and evaluations of nursing personnel in line with regulations.
• Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities for the nursing staff.
• Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and participate in QA activities.
• Coordinate with other resident services to ensure comprehensive care.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
• Complete reports and assist Billing with resident information.
