Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of age-related nursing care needs and regulatory requirements.
• Must have leadership and supervisory abilities to manage staff.
• Must be able to plan, organize, and interpret nursing programs and policies.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs/GNAs and other nursing staff.
• Supervise staff performance, provide education and counseling, and complete evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with Center policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services and discharge planning.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and Center surveys.
