Job summary

Requirements include a nursing degree or approved LPN/RN program and an active NJ license, plus strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license to practice in New Jersey.
• Must have a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/RN program.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must demonstrate leadership and supervisory ability.
• Must be able to plan, organize, and supervise nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities of CNAs/GNAs and other nursing personnel.
• Provide education and counseling; perform disciplinary actions as necessary and complete evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and Center policies.
• Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to maintain resident care.
• Prepare and review discharge plans and participate in quality assurance activities.
