Job summary

Atlas Healthcare, LLC seeks a registered nurse supervisor to oversee daily nursing care in a long-term care center in New Jersey. You will supervise CNAs/GNAs, ensure policy compliance, provide coaching and evaluations, and participate in discharge planning as part of the caregiving team.

The ideal candidate holds a NJ RN license, demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills, and can make independent decisions while maintaining resident safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold a current, unencumbered NJ RN license.
• Ability to supervise CNAs/GNAs and other nursing staff.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing functions of CNAs/GNAs or other nursing personnel.
• Ensure compliance with written policies, procedures, and regulations governing the Center.
• Provide discipline and performance evaluations as necessary.
• Participate in planning shifts, services, and activities with nursing staff and support personnel.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure compliance by nursing staff.
• Support quality assurance and participate in surveys or inspections when required.
• Assist in discharge planning and updating the resident's discharge plan.
