Mercy Hospital is seeking a qualified CNM/Nurse Leader to oversee nursing care for a defined patient group. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring quality care, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Current nursing licensure and CPR/NRP certifications are required, with BSN or higher and 4 years of clinical experience preferred. The role emphasizes budgeting, performance improvement, and using basic computer tools.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in the applicable state of practice.
• Four (4) years of experience in clinical specialty or related area.
• Able to apply principles of management, co-worker supervision, teaching, performance improvement, and budget.
• Basic computer skills including data entry, Windows, and MS Office are required.
• To ensure patient safety, it is mandatory that all licensed coworkers who provide direct patient care pass a medication and math competency test before assuming medication administration responsibilities.
• Preferred Education: BS/MS preferred.
• Preferred Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Preferred Certifications: PALS

Responsabilités

• Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with age specific needs.
• Assure appropriate and effective pain management.
• Assess, report, and assist any patients that present with evidence of abuse and/or neglect.
• Co-workers are expected to abide by Mercy Hospital safety and infection control policies.
