Job summary

Mercy is seeking a CNM leader to oversee nursing care, staff supervision, and care quality within the unit. The role emphasizes collaboration with medical staff, budget awareness, and adherence to safety and service standards.

Qualified candidates have BSN or higher, active state licensure, CPR/NRP, and at least four years in a clinical specialty with some supervisory experience. BSN/MS preferred and PALS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• BSN or completion within 2 years.
• CPR and NRP certifications.
• 4 years of clinical experience; management/leadership exposure.
• Basic computer skills: Windows and MS Office.
• Medication/math competency test required for direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide professional nursing care for assigned patients.
• Delegate appropriately and direct staff in delivery of care.
• Assure utilization of resources and maintain safety and infection control policies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and administration to ensure quality patient care.
