Mercy is seeking a CNM to lead clinical care, supervise staff, and ensure safe, effective care for a defined patient group on a busy unit. The role emphasizes quality, collaboration with physicians, and adherence to Mercy standards.

You will contribute to staffing decisions, budgeting, and performance improvement efforts while guiding nursing teams and maintaining certification requirements like CPR and math competency for medication administration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing; BSN or completion within 2 years.
• Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
• Four years of clinical experience; management and budget knowledge.
• Basic computer skills, data entry, Windows and MS Office.
• Certifications: CPR; medication math competency for direct care.
• BS/MS preferred; supervisory/management experience preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver quality patient care to a defined group of patients and supervise staff.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels and ensure skills to meet patient needs.
• Collaborate with medical staff and administration; manage resources efficiently.
• Participate in committees; uphold safety, infection control, and pain management standards.
• Direct care plans across age-specific patient populations and support staff development.
