Job summary

Alabama Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator to lead staff training and development in our skilled nursing facility. Ideal candidates are RNs or LPNs licensed in Alabama with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• RN or LPN license in Alabama.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement staff development programs, including training sessions and on-the-job training.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and develop targeted solutions.
• Design and deliver comprehensive orientation programs for new employees.
• Conduct coaching and mentoring sessions to support staff growth.
• Maintain accurate records of staff development activities (training hours and evaluations).
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance programs.
• Provide scheduling and labor monitoring to the nursing department.
