South Health and Rehabilitation LLC is seeking a dedicated Staff Development Nurse (LPN) to join our leadership team in Alabama. You will empower nursing staff with training, skills, and confidence to deliver high-quality resident care.

The role emphasizes planning educational programs, conducting orientation, evaluating competencies, and ensuring regulatory compliance, with opportunities to mentor staff and influence quality care.

Qualifications

• Current, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Alabama.
• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience as an LPN.
• Experience in Long-Term Care and/or Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Leadership, staff development or supervisory experience in LTC/SNF setting required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement ongoing educational programs for nursing and support staff.
• Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding.
• Evaluate staff competencies and coordinate in-service training.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility standards.
• Support infection control and quality assurance programs.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff.
