Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced nurse administrator to serve as an administrative liaison among staff, patients, physicians, families, and external agencies. The role emphasizes coordination and effective communication to support safe patient care.

The position requires current PA RN licensure (or multi-state eNLC), at least 3 years of nursing experience, and ideally a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with prior management exposure.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• 3 years of recent nursing experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as administrative liaison among staff, patients, physicians, families, departments, and outside agencies.
• Makes administrative decisions and notifies administrator on call, Legal Dept and/or Risk Management when appropriate.
• Facilitates patient flow and resolves issues affecting patient care; ensures resources are used cost-effectively.
• Ensures compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
