Job summary

Allegheny Health Network, within Allegheny General Hospital’s Hospital Operations, seeks an administrative liaison to coordinate staff, patients, physicians and departments. You will drive patient flow, allocate resources, and escalate issues to leadership as needed.

The role requires 3+ years of nursing experience and PA RN licensure (or multi-state eNLC). Prep includes compliance with clearances and CPR, with full-time scheduling and on-site duties at AGH.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience.
• Current PA RN licensure OR multi-state eNLC licensure.
• Act 34, Act 33, Act 73 clearances and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Has authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and notification to the administrator on call and Risk Management when appropriate.
• Serves as a resource person in dealing with complex or complicated patients; identifies and resolves care delivery issues.
• Facilitates patient flow, ensures resources are used cost-effectively and appropriately.
• Ensures compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
