Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Nurse Manager to organize and supervise the daily operations of a patient care department under the Nurse Manager's direction. This role provides clinical leadership and strategic input to improve patient outcomes and department performance.

You will lead staff through governance, performance appraisals, and professional development, ensure compliance with safety standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire or transfer.
• 1 year of demonstrated clinical leadership experience.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi‑state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily operations of the designated patient care department.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and develop staff for professional growth.
• Promote unit-based governance and staff development initiatives.
• Monitor quality and patient safety in line with standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in budgeting and financial monitoring of the unit.
