Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a clinical nurse to join the Enterprise Float Pool, providing care across units and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. You will assess, plan, intervene, and advocate for patients throughout the continuum of care.

The role requires a BSN, minimum two years of acute care experience, and the ability to work varied shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. You will float between Orange and Irvine campuses and mentor students and new nurses to support

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement care plans for assigned patients.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and support staff.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and readiness for discharge.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to students and new nurses.
• Float between Orange and Irvine campuses as needed.
