Job summary

UCI Health in Orange, CA, seeks a Clinical Nurse within the Enterprise Float Pool to deliver and coordinate care for assigned patients across units. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, intervene and advocate throughout the patient’s continuum of care, and you may mentor students and new nurses.

This role requires a BSN, at least 2 years in acute care, ability to work variable shifts, English proficiency, and flexibility to float between Orange and Irvine campuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience.
• BSN required for external candidates.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to float between Orange and Irvine campuses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate care and ensure smooth handoffs and discharge planning.
