Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN required or currently enrolled and completing within 2 years.
• Current licensure by State Board of Nursing in applicable state.
• 4+ years of clinical experience in a related area; ability to manage, supervise and teach staff.
• CPR and NRP certification required; medication and math competency testing for direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide nursing care for patients per age-specific needs.
• Supervise unit staff and coordinate with medical staff and administration.
• Apply management principles, supervision, teaching and budget to the unit.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and compliance with Mercy policies.
