Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Current Washington State Registered Nurse license.
• 3–5 years acute care clinical nursing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Case Management and Utilization Review processes, including InterQual and acute-care patient status regulations.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, TNCC and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• House Supervisor for a 50 bed rural healthcare facility.
• Collect and analyze data on patient admissions, transfers, and bed availability to improve patient care and bed utilization.
• Ensure the patient is admitted to the most appropriate admission level of care and bed assignment, coordinating with Physicians, Nursing Leadership, Nursing Unit staff, Care Management Staff, and other stakeholders.
• In the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer, acts as the Administrator on Duty to make administrative decisions and provide direction for all hospital departments.
• Reports to the CNO.
