Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) practitioner to influence competency and growth of learners across Hartford HealthCare's Greater Manchester Region.

The RN educator partners with nursing leadership to foster education, onboarding, and transition-to-practice from novice to expert, while promoting evidence-based practice and professional development.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum of 3 years of active clinical nursing experience with 1 year in acute care.
• Licensure as RN in CT; NPD or Clinical Specialty Certification within two years of hire.

Responsabilités

• Develops and delivers nursing education programs.
• Assess learning needs and evaluate outcomes.
• Partners with nursing leadership to align practice with ANA standards.
• Mentor and support professional development.
• Manage clinical competencies.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation.
• Drive change through Lean and high reliability practices.
• Promote evidence-based practice and scientific inquiry.
• Perform related duties as required.
