Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse in a leadership role to oversee staffing, patient care quality, and coordination across units during a 11:00am–11:00pm shift. The 36-hour work week supports flexible leadership coverage in a dynamic hospital setting.

Requires BSN, 5+ years RN experience with leadership, and relevant certifications. Candidates must meet NICU/ED policies and stroke certifications as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN required; Masters preferred.
• TNCC required within six months (RMC campus only).
• Five years RN experience, with 2 years in leadership.
• AHA ACLS/BLS/PALS credentials required or within 6 months.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification and 8 hours annual CNE required.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff in identifying clinical and administrative priorities.
• Coordinates nursing staff with activities during their tour of duty.
• Makes rounds to assess quality of care and patient needs.
• Responds to emergencies and codes per CH policies.
• Communicates information and direction during tour of duty.
