Job summary

Capital Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead nursing staff across shifts and ensure high-quality patient care. You will assess priorities, coordinate staffing, and work with nurse managers to optimize operations during the 7:00pm-7:30am shift.

The role requires a BSN (Masters preferred) with at least five years of RN experience, including leadership. ACLS/BLS/PALS credentials are expected or obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN required, Masters preferred.
• Five years RN experience including two years in a leadership role.
• AHA ACLS-Adv Cardiac Life Support, AHA BLS - Healthcare Provider, AHA PALS or must obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff in identifying clinical and administrative priorities.
• Communicates with outside agencies and media per public relations guidelines.
• Responds to emergencies and codes and coordinates CH policies and procedures.
• Makes rounds to assess nursing care and determine unit needs.
• Collaborates with nurse managers to oversee staffing and scheduling.
