Capital Health is seeking a seasoned Nursing Leader to join our team as a Nurse Manager during the night shift. The role coordinates nursing activities, guides staff and resources, and ensures high-quality patient care across units.

Qualifications

• Five years RN experience including two years in a leadership role.
• BSN required, Master's preferred.
• TNCC required within six months of hire if working at RMC campus only.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required (or within orientation) and 8 hours annual CNE.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists staff in identifying clinical and administrative priorities.
• Communicates with outside agencies/media per PR guidelines.
• Adheres to emergency procedures and documents incidents accordingly.
• Reports emergencies to on-call administrator and coordinates responses.
• Coordinates nursing staff across tours, staffing, and next shift planning.
• Makes rounds to assess nursing care and address patient concerns.
• Responds to emergencies and codes per CH policies.
• Manages staff issues, counseling, and disciplinary actions per policy.
