Job summary

Capital Health System, Inc. seeks an experienced nurse leader to oversee nursing operations and ensure high-quality patient care across units. You will plan staffing, coordinate with nursing managers, and drive improvements in patient safety and performance.

This role requires collaboration, adherence to CH policies, and a proactive approach to staffing and resource management. The position demands a BSN, RN with five years of experience including two years in leadership, along with credentials

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN required, Masters preferred.
• Five years RN experience including two years in a leadership role.
• AHA ACLS-Adv Cardiac Life Support, AHA BLS-Healthcare Provider; PALS within 6 months.
• NJ license requirements: NIH Stroke Scale Certification or by end of orientation; 8 hours of Stroke-related CNE annually.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify clinical and administrative priorities.
• Communicate with outside agencies and media per PR guidelines.
• Follow emergency preparedness procedures and department procedures.
• Report emergencies to administrator on call.
• Investigate incidents to ensure proper response and documentation.
• Coordinate staffing and schedules with nurse managers and directors.
