Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILTs) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The role trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and to supervise bargaining unit operators and gear operators.

After training, candidates will be licensed by the NRC to perform SRO duties and may supervise in shift operations with additional compensation structures, bonuses, and incentives described in the

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a non-comparable facility.
• 1.5 years or more in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator (or Supervisor).
• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent and more than 1.5 years as a qualified non-licensed operator or staff member.
• Current or previous SRO Instructor certification and 4 years experience at a comparable facility or 6 years at a non-comparable facility.
• Maintain minimum access or unescorted access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and perform duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Perform other job assignments including emergency response, outage support, and department coverage.
