Job summary

Constellation Energy seeks Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at the LaSalle Nuclear Power Station in Marseilles, Illinois. The role trains candidates to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room after NRC licensing.

The program includes classroom and on-the-job training, with duties extending to emergency response and outage support, and relocation assistance may be offered to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Reactor Operator license or equivalent experience at a nuclear facility.
• Engineering background with direct nuclear plant operations exposure preferred.
• SRO certification with relevant experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job components.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and perform supervisor duties.
• Assist with emergency response, outage support and department coverage as required.
