Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators (SRO) at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. Trainees will complete classroom and on-the-job training, and will be fully licensed by the NRC to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room.

During training, total compensation ranges from $159,000 to $182,000 per year, including a 15% annual incentive bonus and a sign-on bonus; after licensure, compensation increases to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
• 1.5+ years in a position equivalent to Reactor Operator or Supervisor at a military reactor; 1.5 years after qualification.
• Degree from a 4-year program in engineering or physical sciences, or PE license, with >1.5 years in related roles.
• SRO Instructor certification with 4 years at a comparable facility or 6 years at non-comparable facilities.
• Maintain minimum access/unescorted access requirements and medical/compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and perform duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor.
• Support outage activities and provide coverage as needed.
