Job summary

Constellation seeks Initial License Trainees to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at Clinton Nuclear Power Station in Clinton, IL. The role trains you to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and coordinat­e shift activities under NRC rules.

Initially you undergo extensive training, classroom and on-the-job, with the goal of becoming licensed and capable of assuming Operations Shift Supervisor duties. Relocation support may be provided per policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Engineering degree or professional engineer license preferred and relevant supervisory experience.
• SRO Instructor certification and NRC licensing knowledge are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed operators.
• Support outage activities and provide coverage as needed by management.
