Job summary

Constellation is seeking Initial License Trainees (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) supporting Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station located in Cordova, IL. The primary purpose of this position is to train to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor with potential NRC licensing.

Upon completion, the candidate will be fully licensed by the NRC to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and assist bargaining unit operators, including related outage

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current or previous SRO Instructor certification and related experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job training and evaluation.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license to supervise licensed operators.
• Perform other duties including emergency response, outage support, and department coverage.
