Job summary

Constellation, now integrated with Calpine, seeks Initial License Trainees to become licensed Senior Reactor Operators at Clinton, IL. You will train to supervise licensed reactor operators in the control room and prepare for NRC licensing.

Upon completion, you may supervise bargaining unit operators and other personnel, with a path to senior responsibilities and competitive total rewards including training milestones and bonuses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility.
• 1.5 years in a supervisor/engineer role at a related facility may be required.
• Engineering degree or PE license with relevant experience is considered.
• Must maintain access requirements and pass medical exams.

Responsibilities

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) with classroom and on-the-job training.
• Complete all training phases to obtain an SRO license and supervise operators.
• Support outages, provide department coverage and follow company policy.
